Mountain environments are undergoing rapid changes including shifts in atmospheric deposition and climate change. These high elevations systems are warming at approximately twice the rate of their lower valley counterparts. In the EBPL we are very interested in how these lakes and streams are being altered and how we can use them to as bellwethers of change.
